Facial lipofilling – Liposculpture

Also called volume restoration by lipofilling, this is an intervention to remodel the various fatty areas of the lower face. It rejuvenates the face by smoothing out a tired appearance.

Crisalix is 3D simulation software that shows the results of aesthetic surgery. This tool helps patients better express their request and enables surgeons to give clear, reasoned explanations. Patients are therefore better informed when they decide to have an operation.

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS

Who is a facial liposculpture intended for?
Both men and women can have recourse to this intervention. It smooths out a tired facial appearance and is for anyone with a double chin, sagging and/or puffy cheeks.
Why undergo a facial liposculpture?
Liposculpture rejuvenates the face and can also modify certain parts of the face, such as the jowls, cheekbones, chin and neck.
Is this a painful intervention?
This intervention is not especially painful. You may experience some discomfort for a few days after the intervention.

Before the intervention

2 consultations need to be arranged: one with the plastic surgeon and the other with the anaesthetist.
Stop smoking 1 month before the intervention
Do not take aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs for 10 days before the intervention.
Pre-operative photographs are taken.
15-day reflection period between the 1st consultation and the intervention.
