Composite Breast Augmentation
Breast hypoplasia is a lack of breast volume due to an abnormal development of the mammary gland. The most widely solution today is the fitting of breast implants. To increase the volume and reshape the breasts, implants can be placed in front of and / or behind the muscle, depending on the patient’s chest. Dr. Bron notably masters the composite technique, where the implants are placed in dual plan, with a transfer of fat in front of the mammary gland by lipofilling. This procedure provides an extra layer and hides the breast implant, which gives a very natural result to the touch. Composite breast augmentation is the technique of choice of Dr. Bron and it is particularly suitable for patients with a small frame.

BREAST AUGMENTATION | QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
- Are breast implants palpable to the touch?
If the implants are placed behind the muscle, they are almost imperceptible to the touch. They are even less perceptible if fat is reinjected in front of the mammary gland to camouflage the implant (composite technique). - How old do you have to be to have a breast enlargement?
You can have a breast enlargement from the age of 17, which is when your breasts are fully developed. - Can you breastfeed after mammary prostheses have been inserted?
Yes, a woman can breastfeed if her implants are placed behind the muscle.
